Dickson Shops Tile Art

At the Dickson shops there is a whole bunch of what I call tile art. Some people still refer to it as mosaic, but to me it is tile art – painting on tiles. Mosaic to me is about breaking/cutting tile/glass/found objects etc… and putting it all back together. That aside, here is some tile art in the Inner North! 😉

The artist is Bev Hogg and I noticed it also pays thanks to Totalcare, Urban Services and to landscape architects Maunsell McIntyre and Dorrough Britz. I’m not sure exactly when it was installed, but from memory (and mine is pretty much shot!) I think they revamped the shops around 2002.
